About our Founder

The company was started by Matt Murphy who has been in the industry for 42 years and was the Buyer for numerous franchised dealerships including Volvo in London and the car supermarket Autoquake.

As a used car expert he saw a gap in the market for impartial, Local car finding services that worked for the customer, not the dealers. So, in 2009, Matt founded a Car Brokers business, to find cars for people, not sell them one. Matt, is still very much hands on and runs the business from London.

After you have submitted your details, we will call you to discuss your next car in more depth and your requirements in detail.
This will be written up for you to check, and together we will complete this until all the details are 100% agreed.
We will also answer all your questions about how we work and what we charge. When everything has been agreed, and only then, would we move to the next important stage.
Central to the success of our service, is how we compare the market for the car you want. Following our consultation with you we will start our car searches.
As Professional Buyers we have access to the whole of the used car market, and yes we mean all of it. Few can match our expertise and contacts built up over 40 years.
In addition to all the cars available Online UK wide and the normal Retail supply route, there are fantastic cars available that only we in the Trade have access too.
We will filter our shortlist down to the cars that we know match your requirements, have the right provenance and that we know offer value for money.
You can then choose which car you would like us take further.
Working for you - we will take care of all the negotiate with the Seller, with all savings passed on to you.
This will include your Part exchange car and any Finance you may require.
We will also do this with other sellers on the short-list too, and we will tell you what offers or deals have been forthcoming.
You will have a choice of cars to pick from before we move to the next stage.
Pre Purchase Inspections (PPI)
You have chosen a vehicle from the short list and you will know the deal we have negotiated with that Retailer.
Having confirmed the Provenance and history of the vehicle, and with your agreement, we will arrange the Inspection of the car.
There are sub-standard cars out there in sufficient numbers to be concerned.
No one is immune – Main Dealers included.
Bodywork condition is always an issue for used cars, and as buyers paintwork is our specialty.  Mechanically all cars are covered by a warranty, they may still be covered by the manufacturers warranty, nevertheless we do a full road test, and numerous component checks.
If the car is in lovely condition, we will tell you there and then.
It is important to have a nice car reserved immediately, to take it off the market so it will not be sold to someone else.
This is done by paying the Retailer a Deposit.
We will help you organise that and your new car is only days away.
Our Inspection of the vehicle has another benefit, and we turn that into an advantage for you.
It helps us agree any important work that must be completed before the car is ready to be handed over, such as an engine service, fresh MOT, tyres, wheel refurbishment and so forth. It will be to late when the car is delivered and they have been paid.
This will take the Retailer a few days so we will agree a “Completion Date” or handover date, when everything will be done and the car is ready to be released.
Yes, buying a car properly usually means two trips to a retailer, not one.
That is what a straight “online purchase” overlooks and is ill-equipped to address and why using our professional service adds real value. Tangible value.
Delivery day.
You complete the purchase from the comfort of home. The completion day is an Important day, and we manage all of this of course.
This is when we need to complete the purchase.
You will pay the Retailer the balance owed for the car.
You will also receive our Invoice to be paid at the same time.
Retailers charge for delivering vehicles, so whether they deliver or we deliver, that cost will be added to one of the two invoices above.
All you need to do, is to be free to make two payments online, and that is it.
In a few hours your new car will be delivered to your door ready to enjoy.
